New Zealand born and raised, Robyn Black moved to Australia in 1998 where she began her eponymous label, ROBYN BLACK.

Her design practice encompasses immaculate tailoring with a hint of androgyny, and draws inspiration from antique construction techniques and details. The Robyn Black palette consists of black and neutrals as a backdrop to exquisite colour and texture.

Crafted in a soft, linen with a peekaboo lining of pure cream cotton, this dress moves with ease and purpose.

The semi-fitted bodice with asymmetric style lines gives way to a relaxed waist and full skirt, with an adjustable back belt to cinch the fit as desired.

Designed with room to move and thoughtfully cut to suit a range of bodies, the Poet’s Dress is as comfortable as it is considered.

It features a V neckline, ¾ length sleeves, and a single front inseam pocket.
